Over the past few months, I’ve been busy creating content at ThePalmerMethod.com about the Palmer Method, a method of penmanship that was used to teach more Americans to write with their arm than any other.
First, I created The Palmer Method Intro Series. This 6-part series gives you all the background info you need to know before learning the Palmer Method and explains how the Palmer Method works.
After that, I launched The Palmer Method Study Plan Video Course. This online course takes you through Austin Palmer’s classic book, The Palmer Method of Business Writing. In 35 videos, I cover 80+ lessons and 100+ drills from the book. If you are serious about learning to write with your arm, this is the course for you.
In other news, I also acquired PalmerMethod.com. This website has been around since 2011 and has largely gone unchanged. I’m not planning on changing the core content of the site too much; it’s basically a reproduction of The Palmer Method of Business Writing in website format. That said, I have already made improvements to the site. I’ve made the site mobile-friendly, updated/corrected some of the text, added new content, and I plan to communicate with the email list in some fun ways.
Since the Golden Age, there’s never been a better time to be interested in traditional American penmanship!
